Mexico City-né Jorge Ayala navigates through disciplines with talent, undeniably reinventing movement, volume and the so called postdigital era.
Ayala studied architecture in Beaux-Arts in Paris prior to entering the prestigious Architectural Association School in London.
After living a year in Beijing, Ayala returns to France to kickstart as an entrepreneur with Ayala Group, and his luxury label Jorge Ayala Paris.
Currently established between Paris and New York, Jorge Ayala is currently working on his 5th Collection and Runway Show.
Pluridisciplinary at his design studio in Paris, Jorge is dedicated to cutting edge research and material experimentation, resulting not only on architectural clothing and accessories, but also the design of JAP popup stores and showrooms, his own marketing and campaigns, allowing him a plethora of collaborations with Louis Vuitton, Swarovski, Google Mexico, Berlin Fashion Week, Vogue Mexico, Franck Provost and United Nude, among others.
His unconventional designs have been featured and wore by French rappers Maître Gims, Soprano and Kiddy Smile, British singer Beth Ditto, and Drake feat Wizkid new single.
Jorge Ayala signed with New-York based Luxury Group Lux Cartel in 2016 and his F/W 17 Collection ‘Mexique’ was present during New York Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week and Mexico Fashion Week, with trunk shows in Moscow, available in stores around the world from September 2017.
